The Lincoln Theatre is a non-profit arts organization, presenting a diverse schedule of events and p The Lincoln Theatre originally opened July 1, 1929 operating as the premier movie palace in Southwest Virginia, thousands of motion pictures flashed across the screen during its 44 years of operation before its closing in December of 1973. It reopened for a short time during the mid-70’s but could not stay afloat on the few customers it had, because of this the building and its systems fell into disrepair. Read more
